WHALE SHARK!

One of the neatest things about the Atlanta Aquarium is that you can literally walk underneath the glass and look up to see the fish swimming above you, including this gigantic WHALE SHARK!

another surreal scene

Like something from outer space...I would imagine.

OTTER

This cute guy is an Otter, a very fat Otter by the look of him. This is from the Atlanta Aquarium again.

JELLY FISH

This was a very surreal scene; the jelly fish floating around in the blue glow of the water, pulsating and bobbing rhythmically, with the stark silhouettes of the people in the foreground, it made for a very cool photo. It was taken in Atlanta, in the Atlanta Aquarium. I have been to a few aquariums, DC, Montreal's Bio Dome and now Atlanta. Atlanta's was the best Aquarium so far.

IT'S A PARADE OF PRO WRESTLERS!!

Really stands out in a crowd

I guess it wouldn't be a parade without an elephant

My girlfriend, at the time, and I snuck through the yellow barrier tape and were walking right next to Sid during the parade. I took this photo when she tapped him on the shoulder and he turned for a photo.

Sid Vicious, he was my favorite at this event. He's in my top 3 most favorite wrestlers of all time.

Perfect and Austin
The late great Mr. Perfect Kurt Henning and Steve Austin

Tom Prichard and Michael P. S. Hayes, A.K.A. Dok Hendrix

Hunter Hearst Helmsley

George "The Animal" Steele

The greatest day I ever had.

The World Wrestling Federation came to town in 1996. Look at the date on the marquee. Late August, just a couple of months after the formation of the NWO in WCW. The late 90's was a great time to be a wrestling fan, and this was the best day I ever had as a wrestling fan.

RAT RACE

Just some experiments on exercise in rats that I was privileged to watch. Who needs horse racing when you have this?

More cats

I like cats.

BHL

It was below freezing, but after the first few minutes of running around, you get hot enough to play in shorts and a t-shirt.
We play until it gets to dark to see the ball.
That's me in the yellow, and my bro to the left.
Here I am with my brother and friends playing street hockey in the middle of winter. We call it the Brampton Hockey League. We shoveled the snow on the tennis court behind my firend's house. That's me in the front middle in the white t-shirt, Allan Hughes is in goal, Todd Foster is in the black hoodie, and my brother is in the grey hoodie.

Kitty Cats Galore!

Here are a bunch of cats and kittens in my parent's back yard.

THE IGUANNA

I used to take the train from Montreal to Toronto every month to visit my parents. It’s a 6-hour train ride. They do not allow pets on the train, so I used to sneak my Iguana on the train every time I went back and forth. I must have sneaked her on the train over a dozen times. The way I used to do it was I would put the Iguana in my gym bag with a sweater or a towel to keep her warm. I would keep the gym bag with me at my seat. Iguannas are are very placid animals. The Iguana always just sleeps the whole trip, except this one time.
For some reason she goes crazy in the bag and tries to escape. The bag starts moving and twisting and writhing and convulsing! I looked up and the train conductor was walking down the aisle collecting the passenger’s tickets. Iguannas are strong lizards, one big muscle, kinda like a big snake, so my entire gym bag was convulsing and moving. By this time the conductor was just two rows away from me! If I got caught with a pet on the train they would fine me and kick me out at the next stop! I put my jacket over the gym bag so the conductor wouldn’t notice it moving. But it didn’t work. Now the bag and the jacket are moving, a lot! So when the conductor came to get my ticket I put the bag between my legs and pretended I was spastic. I was shaking like I was having a seizure! It looked like I had to go to the washroom real bad and couldn’t hold it in anymore. I was shaking my legs more than Elvis! I handed him my ticket while shaking like a crazy person, so he couldn’t tell the bag was moving on it’s own because I was having this seizure. I stopped the spazzing when the conductor went in the next car. The other passengers thought I was a nut!

SPIKE

My first post on this blog. I am devoting this blog to all my NON DRAWING stuff; it could be photos, poems, stories, rants, stuff like that. So here is a photo of my dog. I don't have him anymore. His name was SPIKE. I had tons of fun with him.
Spike was a big German Shepherd. In 1989 I bought a pair of Roller Blades. I didn’t know how to skate back then. I put on the roller blades for the first time and grabbed my dog by the leash. It was like water skiing. Spike was the boat, I was the water skier. I held on to his leash as Spike took off running as fast as he could! Like I said, I did not know how to skate, and my dog was very fast. It was very thrilling! Until he ran onto the highway! Spike was running through red lights! Running between cars! Running on the wrong side of the road! I couldn’t stop because I had no control and did not know how to skate well. Also, there is a rubber piece on the back of one skate to use as a brake to stop. My brother took that piece off of my new roller blades! He said it would get in my way. So my dog was pulling me very fast in traffic and I had no brakes! Cars were honking their horns, people were screaming! Cars were slamming on their brakes and making a screeching noise. I almost caused a dozen accidents! I was terrified! I was screaming, “I’m going to die!” It is a miracle I did not get hit by a car. Eventually my dog ran off the highway, out of traffic and back home. When I took the roller blades off I was shaking like I saw a ghost. And that was my first time on Roller Blades. Good times.
