my sexy bathroom

My girlfriend and I re-made my bathroom. We painted it brown and beige...sorry, beachcomber and mocha. It looks really good now. If only I had before pictures to illustrate the huge difference. Gone is the Sailor Moon poster that covered the window, now I have a fantastic curtain that was sewn by hand by Nefta. Gone is the ugly medicine cabinet, now I have a huge mirror with a wooden frame and wooden shelf. Gone is the yellow and blue painted walls. Gone is the old cheap toilet seat cover, now I have a nice looking wooden toilet seat. Gone is the bathroom rug that kept sticking to the floor and pealing, now I have a nice floor towel. Gone is the rickety cabinet, now I have a bunch of open shelves made of wood. A huge transformation, Nefta's vision and interior decorating now gives me an adult bathroom.

cell phone pics of an abandoned industrial building

On the same last bike ride of 2007, the ride where we found a live eel, I also snapped these cell phone photos of an old abandoned industrial building. I really wish I had a good camera with me, these cheap photos do not do any justice to the textures and structure of this awesome monolith. If the building is still there in the coming summer, I will definitely take a good camera with me next time.

cell phone photos of the last bike ride of 2007

I was bike riding with my friends Errol, Rick, and Chris, when Errol spots something in the water. He grabs it out of the water and it was an eel! And it was still alive!! I snapped these photos with my cell phone.

my wall of boxes

This one wall of my bedroom. I took 2 photos and merged them to get the whole wall. I like my wall of boxes and knick knacks.

CURTAINS!!!!

These brand new, super-rich, luxurious curtains in my bedroom were made today with lots of love and the two little hands of my super-fabulous girlfriend. Thanks Sweety! The pictures do not do them justice, they look absolutely amazing. The curtains were made with fabric we purchased in New York, lugged across the border by my girlfriend, and sewn with my newly-purchased sewing machine, by my girlfriend also. My bedroom is looking like it was designed by a professional interior decorator, or any of the gay guys on TLC.

WATER TOWER

I saw this really cool looking very old rusty dark water tower in Montreal. So Nefta and I stopped the car to snap a few pictures. Unfortunately the pics just look like silhouettes, you can't see all the rusty details. I need a new digital camera.

MY BEDROOM WINDOW

It's not as gloomy as it looks. The photo just turned out this way. My walls are not black, they are actually red.

If only every day were this nice.

The winter has hardly yet begun and I am already looking forward to next summer.

Looks like a postcard

Montreal's Botanic Garden again. Lovely eh?

A beautiful day in Montreal's botanic garden

I love going to the botnic garden in the summer. I can spend the whole day there, it is peaceful, calming and very pretty. I haven't done it yet, but I would like to take a sketchbook there and just draw all the great scenery, maybe next summer I will do just that.
