BOSTON

They have whale watching boats, but I am not ready for that yet. I have a phobia about whales, they frighten me. My 2 biggest fears are whales and bigfoots. But it's a beautiful scene anyway, even knowing there are whales in them waters.

SHARK!

Not the greatest photos, but it's hard to get a good shot through the glass, in the dark, with a moving shark, and no flash. My girlfriend took the pictures at the aquarium, she's better with the camera than I am. My photos always turn out way too blurry. This is the scariest things I have ever seen.

Jelly 'n' me

Me and a couple jellies

More photos from the Boston Aquarium

like the song says...

"I don't think you're ready for this jelly"

monitor lizard

I love reptiles. I used to have many lizards, an iguana, an emerald skink, a black skink, green anoles, brown anoles, a chameleon, red ear slider turtles, a Mississippi map turtle, a yellow belly turtle, a tree frog, and a toad. The one lizard I always wanted, but have not had yet, is a monitor lizard. So I was happy to see this guy at the aquarium.

jelly

These jelly fish are part of an exhibit called AMAZING JELLIES at the Boston Aquarium. The photo turned out real nice.

Boston Aquarium

This is a cool fish we saw at the Boston Aquarium yesterday. It was my first time on Boston proper. I really like that city, it's friendly and has great looking old buildings.

Done for the day

This is the last photo I took as my girlfriend and I left our nature walk at Wellesley that day. This is the path back to the parking lot of the country club.

inside outside

This part of the school is very much like a place in Montreal called Square Victoria. Like Square Victoria, this part of Wellesley College was added on to what usd to be the outside wall of the school. The photos show a wall that was once the exterior or the school, but is now the interior.

Wellesley College...

...a nice place to hang around.

on a hill

By the lake is the country club and this old building.

the great tree of wisdom

With some pretty wild roots.

GREEN HOUSE

More from my girlfriend's new place, this is the green house on the campus grounds at Wellesley. From the bottom up; the entrance, the cactus room, an intersting plant, and a close up of the same interesting plant.

OBSERVATORY

Again at on campus at Wellesley. This shot is from an office window of the school.

FROGGY

I was delighted to come across this guy, a frog! I haven't seen a frog in years. When I was a kid they were everywhere. Nowadays, seeing a frog is a rare. Kids today are missing out on the joy of catching critters in ponds and creeks. The ponds and creeks are either dried out, or the animal life just isn't there, or they are not allowed to go into the creeks by crazy parents that fear dirt and germs, shame. There is nothing more fun than catching a frog, a cray fish, a minnow, a leech, and putting them in the same jar to see who wins.

more lake

More lake shots, I love nature photography.

campus lake

These gorgeous pics are of a lake on the Wellesley campus, taken with my girlfriend's new digital camera.

on the trail

A lovely day for a walk in the woods.
