Red Breasted Nuthatch

My girlfriend had a big chunk of time off from teaching, so she spent all of January and with me in Montreal. We watched a lot of TV. And it seemed like every other commercial was a wildlife spot about the Red Breasted Nuthatch. We must have seen this commercial about 50 times, and each time we would make jokes about it, it became a running gag. When she is not with me, we usually play games with each other online. We do a lot of jig saw puzzles over the messenger. But since she was with me, there was no need for that. But as soon as she was back in Wellesley, we went to play a puzzle. Lo and behold! What was the picture on the puzzle? THE RED BREASTED NUTHATCH!!!!

cell phone pics of an abandoned industrial building

On the same last bike ride of 2007, the ride where we found a live eel, I also snapped these cell phone photos of an old abandoned industrial building. I really wish I had a good camera with me, these cheap photos do not do any justice to the textures and structure of this awesome monolith. If the building is still there in the coming summer, I will definitely take a good camera with me next time.

cell phone photos of the last bike ride of 2007

I was bike riding with my friends Errol, Rick, and Chris, when Errol spots something in the water. He grabs it out of the water and it was an eel! And it was still alive!! I snapped these photos with my cell phone.

my wall of boxes

This one wall of my bedroom. I took 2 photos and merged them to get the whole wall. I like my wall of boxes and knick knacks.

BOSTON

They have whale watching boats, but I am not ready for that yet. I have a phobia about whales, they frighten me. My 2 biggest fears are whales and bigfoots. But it's a beautiful scene anyway, even knowing there are whales in them waters.

SHARK!

Not the greatest photos, but it's hard to get a good shot through the glass, in the dark, with a moving shark, and no flash. My girlfriend took the pictures at the aquarium, she's better with the camera than I am. My photos always turn out way too blurry. This is the scariest things I have ever seen.
